Look at what I captured!

I have always wanted to capture a humming bird in flight. Well I was playing around with my new camera today and I got one. I wanted to get better with the sports mode, my daughter has a softball tourney tonight. I wanted to get some pictures of her in action. I went outside and there were some humming birds flying around. I waited thinking they were gone and guess what? one came back and I got him, this is why I love living in the country! Enjoy Hugs

Life is Good Award

I received this from Becca a while back. Sorry Becca it took me so long to post this. I have been painting my family room and bedroom. I would like to paint my office/den next. Now my daughter has added her room to the list. Maybe I should go into business, not! Ok her are my question I had to answer . Where do you live? I live in Indiana out in the country in the middle of no where! and I love it. 2. Favorite time of year? I love summer but Fall has the best eye candy love the colors!! 3. Who would you take art lessons from? I would love to do a fabric dyeing lesson from Jane Dunnewold. I am drooling just thinking about that! 4. Favorite TV show or movie? TV would be Dog the bounty hunter, Movie Alice in Wonderland of course!! 5. Color? Love then all but Red and Orange are at the top. 6. Reality Show I'd like to be in? Survivor as long as there were no large spiders anywhere around! 7. What books do I like? I never seem to have time for books but I am a big art magazine reader. Beading, Wearable art! 8. How many hours a week do I spend on my art? Not enough I always busy with the kids, my daughter is in just about every sport except soccer. 9. Ice Cream? Don't eat it unless it is sugar free, stay away from sugar 10. What is good? creating a master piece of art,camping,boating and a quiet day in the country. I am passing this on to Cat Denni Hugs

Garage Sale Make Over

Well we hit garage sales last Friday. There were several neighborhood sales. I found this wood side table and got it for $8 what a deal. Here is a before and after of this table. Of course I had to paint it every prim girls color Black! I think it turned out pretty good for only spending $8. Hugs for now

Back from camping for weekend, this is the falls and dam. There were a lot of drunk and rude people out this weekend. Despite that, the weekend was fun. I plan to get some creating done as soon as I clean my studio. School is out so no rushing just some relaxing. I am also planning some repainting of a couple of rooms.
