Primitive Quilt Top

Well here is one thing that has been keeping me busy! I wanted new bedding and curtains but didn't want to spend a fortune. So I decided to design and make my own quilt. Well it was a bit challenging at times but I have the top done. I hope to get it all finished in the next week or so. I also made my own pattern for curtains, just like the new prim ones you see in Country Sampler. I will post picture of those later. I made my curtains out of the same material that I did the bed skirt out of. I only spent $19.00 to do 3 windows, bed skirt and used some in my quilt. I am so proud of myself ! I am also trying to get my Go Figure started for the local Art Museum. I am making a figure out of recycled material for an Art show. I love recycling things and turning them into ART!! So fun to think of ways to use old junk. I will post some pictures when I get this going. Hugs
