Experminting with Design

Ok I have unleashed the creative juices and playing with design. I love funky clothing and I made some pretty wild things in my day. I have come back to making some clothing. I love things that are a bit raw and free. This shirt is very large and comfy. I still have some work to do on this piece and have lots of ideas in my head. I also hope to get some more rose necklaces finished today? Hugs for now!

Hair piece

I whipped this piece up to wear in my hair. It didn't come out like the vision I had in my head but it will do. Working on more pieces I hope to share soon. Have a wonderful weekend!

Look what I got today!

Yes some new ribbon. Love these colors! I am working on some more neckpieces I hope to get done soon. I am also thinking I am going to start making and dyeing my own ribbon. Have some plans for some cool shirts soon.I just need to get busy and stop surfing on the computer.

My Deal of the Week

I have been visiting resale shops a lot this last week. I love to find a treasure or just look at all the cool things. I saw these dishes last week for $12.00 for 46 pieces. I love the little pink roses and thought they were so charming. I talked myself out of them. I went back yesterday and they were marked down to $7.00. I said this was meant to be so I loaded them up and they came home with me. So this is my bargain of the week!

WIP

Well my first week off and I have not been getting any creating done. I did start a doll that will be a Halloween witch. I have another necklace started and do need to get busy. I spent most of the week going to resale and antique shops. It is time to get in the groove and get some creating done. Hugs to all!

He has his permit!

Yes Blake got his drivers permit on Wednesday. He passed his test and is learning to drive. I don't know how well my nerves will hold up but we will get there. I might get a lot more gray hair !! He does pretty well out in the country. I let him drive a short way in town today, he made me a bit worried. I think he does better with his dad, he and I are too much a like. He says I yell at him too much. We didn't do drivers ed......too pricy for me it is between 400.00 and 500.00 dollars! It is crazy, so we will teach him and hope for the best.
