Will Spring ever come?

I don't know about you but I am ready for spring. I need some sunshine and warmer temps. I am having a hard time getting motivated and creative. It is snowing here again today,but not supposed to get much more than an inch. The cardinals in the snow at our feeders in the back are just beautiful! The last few days we have had freezing fog! It has been stunning out side but makes me feel like I live in an Arctic zone. It is almost like crystal trees! I had to take some pictures, still playing with my new camera. So Excited! I am in Art Doll Quarterly

I finaly got my copy of ADQ and I am so excited! Cloth and Clay submited to the upcycle challenge and we got published. That is my witch on the right :)I am so happy and I think this is a wonderful group of dolls. So if you get the magazine be sure to check it out! Hugs

Love Patch Bracelet

I think this is my fav so far. I love making things that are One of a Kind when it comes to jewlery. I have some pieces you will not see anywhere else! wink :) My daughter thought at first it didn't have enough bling to it. She said mom it just doesn't look like you! Well I didn't make it for myself but she was right. I added some patches a wire to the heart and had to have some bead dangling. I think it looks much better. What do you think? Hugs

New things!

I have been making all kinds of things! I did this mixed media picture, a little different for me. I had fun doing it. Pushed myself to do somthing new. Still playing with clay also. I love making hearts! I have a couple of dolls I hope to finish tomorrow. We have the day off so I plan to get lots done. With all that is going on in our school system, I am trying to stay positive. Our kids are going to suffer. I don't know how long I will get to keep my job. I am praying it last until the end of the school year. So I am throwing my self into creating and trying to stay positive. Enjoy! Hugs

Clay Crazy!

I can't stop making clay pieces! I have been back to playing with clay. My sister got me a new clay book and I can't stop making clay pieces. I have been in a mixed media kind of mode. I am working on a mixed media picture also. I hope to get it finished tomorrow. I am also working on a couple of dolls. Keep the creative juices flowing! Hugs

Art show piece

Well this year has started off with a real bang! Got a bad sinus infection and spent most of Friday and Saturday in bed! I am feeling much better but not over it yet. I am heading off to help set up an Art Show. Here is my piece for the show. I took the picture with my camera my DH got me for Christmas. I love this camera! Tomorrow it is back to work! Happy New Year!

I want to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope 2010 is a better year for me. I have made some resolutions for my self.

1. To be more organized (this is always on my list)

2. To make some more Blog Internet friends! Made a lot of new ones in 09 and love them all!

3. Make more time for creating! This is a must. If I get # 1 under control this will happen.

4. I am going to make more Jewelry this year! Not giving up dolls just going to devote more time to some Jewelry making.

5. I am going to get more active and get some weight off! I am already starting on this one!
